The Lewis Pond Overlook was so beautiful that I could have stayed there all day. But there was a lot more of the Northeast Kingdom to see and photograph, and so about a half an hour after sunrise, I packed up my gear and prepared to move on. My last photo from the area was this "pullback shot" showing the tree-lined path leading to the overlook (which is a simple circle made of concrete blocks).
If you ever get a chance to visit this place, it's definitely worth the drive.
